Anyone one,need an answer on how to get rid of this asr feature,cannot turn it off do not want to fix it will taking out the fuse work(need help)!!!

 

Why can't you turn it off? Doesn't the button work?

 

the light on the button do not come on anymore so I cant deactivate it!

 

According to the 97 Camaro Owner's Manual, the fuse in the dash panel for ASR switch is also the fuse for the backup lights, turn signal module and DRL's. Have you checked that fuse?

There's a relay in the under hood box, but that controls both the ASR and ABS.

The ASR OFF switch connects to pin A15 on the PCM. Why not try bypassing the switch?
