i have a 96 z28 m6 that i just replaced head gaskets. I also have the intake ported by lloyd(great job) and the heads stage 1 locally. also i removed the air pump since it seemed to be more in the way than anything.
do i need a new chip for it, or can the computer handle those changes?
it wants to idle at 1k and it will not drop below that.

No chip since '93. It needs to be programmed to get the most out of it.
