Will performer RPM airgap fit?

i have a weiand intake manifold right now. and about 2 1\2 inches of clearence. i got the ss hood.

Here is what I found. and how I found it. O have a ZZ4 350 block/383, I have an Edlebrock RPM Air_Gap, street avenger carb, and a 3" air filter.
When I saw how high the dern thing was I freaked. BUT, I put grease on all four corners (I know its round) of the chrome top and slowly closed the hood. I progressivey closed and opened it more to see if the grease was pressed or on the hood pad. I can slam my hood with no worries now but I still recommend my procedure.
Somebody might have a better idea, but I had the grease. It IS close. Don't bust a motormount

i talked to my local speed shop i learnt 2 things.
The Rpm Airgap will fit the ss hood on a 67-69 camaro no problem..
and more amazingly the edelbrock rpm air gap. is the exact same height as the normal edelbrock performer rpm. its just the airgap out performs it and is a lil more money.
thankyou

performer -
Manifold height: A-3.50", B-4.60"
performer airgap
Manifold height: A-3.72", B-4.92" (.27" taller than #2101)
performer rpm (airgap and plain vanilla)
Manifold height: A-4.20", B-5.25" (same as #7101),
IE, performer is a minimum of ~.35" shorter than a perf rpm.
