What is the weight of a stock 67 Camaro?

V8 and 4spd. It seems like I remember 3100.

Closer to 3680 from what I've found, 3100? I think your thinking of a stripped and lightened car.

First 68 I had only weighed 3120, without a driver. That was with a small block and automatic. Still had stock everything to the best of my knowledge.

Crazy, I know they can be made that light, but have not seen numbers that low for stock.

Isn't there some sort of a sticker on the driver's side door that shows that?

My 68 Z with a SBC and 4 speed weighed 3250; that was with headers and aluminum intake, all steel body, full interior, etc, etc
Add another 50 or so for A/C
most 67-69 come in around 3300, the 2nd gens were a little heavier, and in 76 got a LOT heavier, like 3600 - 3750 with A/C

now, if you do some weight removal... my 68 I have now weighs 3010 w/driver, SBC (LT1 Aluminum heads, FI motor)

Not sure they had that back then, even with my 69 the ProtectoPlates and VIN etc all told different stories as far as giving info on the car, and there wasn't much info there to find out.

I don't remember anything on the door at all, in fact I remember that being an issue at the DMV when I tried to register the car, and I was like LADY its a 1969 car, things were alot different back then. Working at DMV you'd think they knew those things.

Even if there is a door sticker, it normally list's the GVWR, Gross vehicle weight rating; which is the car weight, PLUS the amount of weight (people + luggage) that it is rated to carry.
