Tilt Column?

I am looking for a tilt column and need to know what years & models of cars I can transplant one from? I am wanting it for my 69 RS. I have installed a set of Fiero buckets and need the extra flexabiltity.

Thanks

Bolt in? 68-69 camaro/firebird, or 68-74 Nova/Ventura/Astre
If you can do a little adapting, just about anything.. I have a 96 TA column in my 70Z
There are also some nice aluminum ones from Jegs for around $400

I have been told that a column from a 70-72 Monte Carlo & 69 Grand Prix will work but I haven't talked to anybody that has put either in. Anybody else that has put one in.

Thanks

I removed the two brackets that attach the column to the floor and dash, and used the ones off my 70 column. The wiring is in progress, because I am changing to a delay wiper. I just used the wiring diagrams in my Chiltons to match the two up.
I don't know how well it will fit in a first gen, due to the steering box placement; on the 2nd gens the box is out in front. Best bet is to measure the overall length of yours, then go junkyard shopping!
(ooops, sorry.. barely used! )
