Yeah, I am pretty psyched! I've made some progress since the pic and am just waiting on some headers to fire it up.

whats the cfm because that is the only thing that will determine how much its going to suck. All I see is a throttle body, nothing that exiciting.

Yes, it's a 2,000CFM. I'm excited about trying out EFI and alcohol. I am sure there are people doing it, but I've never done it and I think it will be quite interesting.

I would be too. There's a friend of mine here in town that has run their 815" Kaase hemi on methanol. Its an IHRA ProStock motor on efi. They run some Pro 5.0 and Quick 16 stuff. They switch between gasoline and methanol. The FAST system makes it easy and you can run closed loop wot pretty easy after you get it worked out. Methanol is pretty forgiving on the tuneup. Is it just for fun, or are you planning on bracket racing or what?

Brackets are definitely in the picture for this year. Right now, the motor is a 60 over 427 with some fairly decent worked over rectangular port aluminum heads. I do have most of the parts for a bigger shortblock and also a nitrous system but without some better heads I am sort of stalled. Eventually I plan to do some heads up match races as well as brackets (after putting the larger motor together).
