i need some help with the stock tach in my 80z28. there is no way that it is readin correct. i really doubt that the motor only revs to 3500. it seems more like it is at 5500rpm. thanks!!

I would suggest changin the part in the distributor that your tach wire hooks up to, not really sure what its called but that may be your problem.

i have a brand new accel distributor. the problem happened before and after the install. i dont know what the problem is..i need to fix this problem without getting an aftermaket tach for the dash. i like to keep what i have a little secret and those things are a dead givaway. and i have a lot of neccesary gauges and i dont want any more!!!thanks for the help!!

the tach is the least of your problems, your main problem is that it is a 80 camaro. did you know that car craft named that the worst camro ever ? and the reson that you got it is ????

i know that it was voted the worst camaro ever! but it wasnt the z28,it was the base model with the 262 v-8. i have a z28, 4spd, 350 car that is great and was actually built the day i was born. if you want to talk s%&t, go somewhere else!!!fa%&$t!!!!

i meant what the car came with. when i bought it the motorwas junk and the tranny was swaaped with a th-350. i know what i wrote. and dont pull that car craft with me. i get enough crap from my buddies. i have alot of plans for the car and it will be a pretty nasty street car. look at my sig!!!
