Question Sway bar on a 1st gen ?

If my 67 RS came with a 1" front sway bar, will a 1-1/8" bar fit?

Thanks.

If you change the sway bar bushings it will fit.

Yeah it should fit if you change the bushings, but most Sway bar kits come with replacement bushings and all other necessary stuff. I replaced my 7/8" stock one and put a Hot*****s 1 1/8" on and it does help the handling.

Thanks!

The original is MIA, so I'm going to have to replace everything anyway. I'm leaning towards the 1-1/8" Hotchkis.
