Super T10...What type of fluid?

I have a Super T10 in my 69 SS and was wondering what type of fluid it requires? ATF? 80/90 Gear Oil? GM Synchromesh?

Thanks in advance!

80/90 is the recommended here. Unless you live in a really hot or really cold place thats what it takes. I recommend a synthetic though. ONly a few bucks more and it makes it shift smoother and also the EP additive in dyno gear oil is corrosive to soft metals... IE your synchros.

Talos, Personally I havent had much experience with the either richmond tranny. I like the Tremec 3550 TKO to be honest. I think its a lot more bang for the buck. God knows you and I are gonna need a 5 or 6 spd and a low rear to keep up to these 4th gen guys .
