Cool At the strip again

I was at a dragstrip this Saturday to try some more. If you remember I went to one about a month ago and went 14.76. Spinning like crazy. For this time I got new tires but it span this time too. Not as heavily as last time. The time improved just 2 tenths to 14.55 with one mph slower top speed. It was very cold just 40 degrees Fahrenheit This was another track but a similar airstrip with no trackbite preparation. We have a lot of those airstrips over here. They where built in the sixties during the heights of the cold war. Two miles long and wide enough to land a 747. Nowadays we can go racing on them. This was definately the last race for the year. In the spring I will go for slicks.

You can see my runs here:

Thumbs up

Very nice looking car man!! 14.55 still isn't bad! Probably if you had slicks and could heat them up good, you'd get better traction. That is an awesome car though!! And it sounds really nice.
