starting problems

starting problems

i have a 67 camaro with a 327 and for the last couple weeks my car doesnt want to start. If i turn my distributor a little it will start once or twice but then i have to do it again...I bought a new clamp to hold my distributor...what do you think is wrong any advice will help thanks.

what type of distributor is it.
points or hei check the wires at the module they have a tendacie to
break inside the the isulation its posible that when you move your distributor the wires make contact but check all wiring in and to the distributor

Is the clamp chrome? Those things slip. Make sure bolt isn't too long, or it will bottom out before clamping hard, allowing distributor to slip.

could it be my ignition coil failing or can rotors get off time i have never heard of it but i am not that experienced with ignition problems. Thanks for the advice you are giving me.
