So based on my decoding, do I indeed have an RS or an LT/RS, or ???

the q in the vin means no type lt . rs can not be deternined by the vin. either the original build sheet is needed or you can look for the subtle things (color coded door handels, hidden wipers etc.). there is a whole list thats too long to type right now. all 73 rs optioned cars came with extra braceing that the 70 -72 cars did not have. a fake is usualy easy to spot by looking for these 6 braces
