Question Spark plugs and wires

What would be my best choice for some spark plugs and wires? Also, how much should I gap them?

Thanks,

Elliot

Since this on the classic board I assume it is for the 69. On our 67 race car we use MSD wires and Split Fire plugs. The plugs seem to keep the car from loading up on the starting line and burn real clean which makes it hard some times to get a reading from the plugs. Since you didn't list any mods to your ignition I would stick with the stock .035 gap for now. If you get an ignition box and hotter coil like MSD has then you can open up the gap a little more. I highly recommend the MSD wires. We have used them on our 67 since we bought it in 1991 and we also have installed the wires in an S-10, 1987 formula and a 1986 Iroc without any problems in both road and strip applications.
