SBC Drawings or CAD Files

Does anyone have a drawing or CAD file (AutoCAD, Solidedge) of the front of the SBC block, namely the bolt holes for the front motor mounts and water pump bolt holes? I would like to make my own motor plate and would rather have a drawing to go off of than measuring.

The easiest thing to do is just find an old block and trace it. I've seen some nice drawings in some of the old helms/Chevy manuals. Also the aftermarket guys that make these have this info, maybe they'd share?

I actually have an old block I could measure, but without the use of a CMM machine, I don't trust myself to get the hole locations accurate enough to make the motor plate functional with a set of calipers. A member on thirdgen.org had a mechanical drawing of the block that is exactly what I'm looking for.

dimensioned SBC drawings

I have an older Chevrolet racing manual at home that has some dimensioned drawings of the SBC & BBC in it. I used it a long time a go to make a mid plate for a small block Vega I had.

I don't know if the front dimensions are what you need but I will look. If they are there I will put them into AutoCAD and put them somewhere everybody can get them.
