Power Steering Bracket
Power Steering Bracket
I have a 1980 Camaro and am in need of a new power steering bracket and have had no luck in finding one anywhere. The motor is a 350 in. Crate engine from GM Goodwrench. Heres some more info on the engine i have. http://www.crateenginedepot.com/stor...29-P824C2.aspx

Re: Power Steering Bracket
If you can't find it at junk yard, try my #2 source for stuff like this, ebay. Search using the words "steering bracket 350" and I'm sure you'll get a couple of hits. BTW, it doesn't have to be off a Camaro or a 350. Nova, impala, 350/305 brackets are usually the same. Just eyeball the pics and see if it's what you need.
I scored a manual box with the pitman arm for cheap on ebay. I was only bidder. These boxes usually go for 75-100 on the boards, + another 30 for the arm. I think I got them both for 35. I wanted them in case I ever want to unleash the 10hp or so the power steering sucks up.
