I worked on one of these, a customer had a .030 over 350 mild Crower cam, ported heads, headers ect in a 83(?) monte, I had a hard time gettin the throttle linkage geometry to work. That is just the tip of the iceburg, the programmer is crude just a box with up and down arrow keys It took almost 8 hrs to get the thing to idle, but once you get the hang of the programmer it gets easier to use in the end I had around 20(?) hrs in setting it up. The thing does a decent job of engine management when you get it dialed in. It helps when you've got it up and running and moving to have a buddie drive so you can tune it at all differnt area's of the fuel curve. the unit has a a/f monator consisting of a couple different colored LED's, using the controller and watching the LED's during acceleration, cruise, idle, ect is all you have to go by for tuning, I felt they could be more precice with there engine managment in the beginning but the end result I felt the keep it simple approach works quite well. The car now starts and runs almost flawlessly and has very good power and inpressive torque, it gets around 20 mpg with 3.73's and a 700R4. Not to bad for a mildly cammed 355 in a 3500 lb Monte. E-mail me if you need more info.
