paper behind back seat
paper behind back seat
Can anyone help with this information, this sheet was behind the upper back seat and has a lot of information on it about the car. Presumably when it was being built, does it make the car worth any more? Can anyone tell me what all the codes mean?
Sounds like a build sheet. Used on assembly line so workers knew how to build that particular car. If your car has valuable options, it can be used to prove authenticity, so it would make your vehicle more valuable in that case.
For the most part the codes were nonsense unless you were in the factory. I dont think there is any record of what the assembly codes mean. However, depending on year it will list the options. Those are just the RPO codes. You can find out what these are. For example A31 is power windows, of course the most well known is Z28-special performance package. There are a few sites that list RPOs. I think www.chevy-camaro.com is the best? If its a second gen head over to www.nastyz28.com . Tons of 2nd gen info.

thanks for the replies.
its an 81z and the cars vin matches the sheet information, when I restore it, I want everything to be like it was, but there is a lot of info on this sheet that I'm not yet sure what it means. I've come across some sites like nastyz28 and that has helped some.
