offset spring hangers

anyone have experience with the offset spring hangers for the rear leaf springs on first gens?

http://www.competitionengineering.co...?CatCode=10021

the shocks are already inside the leaf springs, and the rear inner wheel tub is going to be enlarged to the frame (no frame altering).

Car is being set up for Drag, but still streetable.

any pro's con's I should know about?

The stock tank will no longer fit, and you will have to use the frame connectors that have the front perches on them.
You'll also have to add narrower perches to the rearend.

The stock tank is already out, and a fuel cell in the trunk.

not sure what you mean by "frame connectors that have the front perches on them" I have the Comp Eng. Bolt in sub frame connectors, that are bolted then welded in. A tech from Comp Eng said they should work but they may need to be clearanced at the rear a little to allow the front spring to pivot a little.

"You'll also have to add narrower perches to the rearend", I take it you mean the leaf spring perches on the rear? A custom 9 inch from Moser would be going in at the same time, so this should not be a problem.

Thanks,
Mark
