New car what to do with this one
Just bought a fair condition 83 regal for 350 smacks..Since the malibu is on a rack (Literally as its on a car storage rack at my buddie boneyard)I have the 17" billet centerlines and very little cash..Its currently got a 3.8L V6 and 350 lockup trans..Im lost at what engine to look into to power the car..I need some links to 455 swaps or maybe a caddy 500 swap if you can still run ac somehow for cheap..If not then it will get the same old 350 700R4 YAWN YAWN YAWN....
So far i have salvaged from the malibu, 12-1 ratio steering box hollow 3rd gen f body sway bar,Monte ss rear sway bar, 3.73 7.5" rear, 4th gen f body rear disks, 12" rotors and spindles with willwood GM III calipers, and teh single (you guys didnt think i was going to leave out a teh in this post did you?) flowmaster exhaust..
My needs are to tow my race car wich im driving, turn corners well and brake damn good, sit low and have no headers or very loud exhaust note as ill be putting about 80 miles a year on the car..
Anybody have any other engine combos that would work and be somewhat uncommon..No BBC since all i have is a fresh 366 from a truck..
