LT1/T56 into first gen sites?
My 96 Formula recently got totalled and I want to swap the LT1/T56 combo into my 69 Camaro. Are there any comprehensive sites where I can find some info. I can't seem to find anything worth a darn on the web. Thanks
I think Year One has all the parts you need for this swap. they had a 69 convertible with a full 4th gen drivetrain/suspension, etc on the cover of a few magazines last month. All the parts they developed for the swap are now for sale at their site
Go over to www.camaros.net and go to the team camaro forum. Search in Engine/Drivetrain, General Tech, Perfromance, ect.. You will find over 3 hours worth of reading. I've done the swap about 3 years ago, and it was not hard at all.

I did a search on yahoo and google for LT1 swap, and found quite a few sites. I also have an LT1 in my 68, and I am in the process of getting the parts together to put one in my 70.. feel free to look at my pages..
>I was going to ask basically the same question

Check out a company called jags that run, I believe thier website is www.jagsthatrun.com or www.jtr.com
they make conversion kits & manuals for SBC jaguars, v-8 s-10's, etc. I believe they sell a kit for exactly what you need.
