It has a 68 327 and th350. Was there a th350 in 68? They are supposed to be from a 68 but not matching mine. I need the kickdown cable and a new gear for the speedo its off by 15mph. Where can I get these? Anyone ever use the secret audio stereo that mounts under the seat and has a small faceplate? I think thats what I'll get.

 

Ive gotten kick down and throttle cables from my local Chevy dealership,along w/ the speedo gears.

They go by teeth #'s on the speedo gears so you gotta find out what gear what youll need to make it read right. Theres a calculator on the 'net somewhere that will tell you which one you need but I can find it for the life of me,sorry man.

 

For the speedo gears you can go to the TCI site and they have a caculator there for the gears. At least they used to have one, haven't been there in a while.

 

I found the calculator, but I first have to check what gear I have in the tail section of tranny. I also have a brake related question. It has 70 chevelle discs up front, and the brake pedal feels like I'm pushing a brick wall. Would buying a new power booster help that? I found one on ebay for 169 and the guy says it will help. Any ideas.
