the idea of a stroked 305 is definately an interesting one. Got an idea to add to it - use flat-top pistons, and vortech heads (1.94/1.5 valves will clear on a 305, right?). Yes, with the 64cc chambers your CR is gonna be down, but that's why you add a blower or turbo!!! Yeah, yeah, you coulb build a 383 turbo and whoop ***, but this idea could be built to return some decent economy, and the longblock would be cheap to make.
