I'm not so keen on the green though?...............while some things of the 60's / 70's are still cool, OTHER things are better off left there!!!

 

I've got my 70 at the body shop right now for paint. The original citrus green was . I decided on Chevrolet Torch Red with white stripes. I think it's going to look great! You might go to www.acarshow.com to see some pictures of Camaros in different colors.

You are right is there is nothing wrong with gold I just dont want mine to be gold and I know that orange and gold are closer than black. I thought about keeping it stock, but at the same time I want to customize it. I am planning on shaving the door handles and I know that is no where to stock . I think it has a great body for shaved doors! (especially if you have a good color too show it off) The choices we have to make......I am glad this isnt life or death. Our 68' camaro was green and that was a pretty green, but if I was going to paint it green it would be that green. I enjoy red, but I am trying to stay away from red again orange isnt that far from red.

 

Charcoal grey with white stripes.... Maybe even a little pearl added in the charcoal. Get 2-3 nice coats of clearcoat and you'll have a beauty.
