Re: How much power?
Hyd roller cam? or solid? what's the LSA?
I would at the least go with a comp cam even though I'm not fond of them as they're part of the over advertise under deliver and would instead contact these guys and do more with less http://www.bulletcams.com
Same price as any other cam on the market but there's something about how they design/grind them they just make alot of power with less stress on the valvtrain, very knowledgible and easy to talk with guys too.
I've never been turned on by Demon carbs and obviously prefer Holley HP series-more so cuz parts can be had at any quik trip and from seeing sheets at our engine builders that dynoed motors with demons and the common lean out at higher rpms that were hard to tune out, and depending on car's application (if it's mainly track only) I would step up cfm on the carb. I've personally run many different carbs from a 600VS to this current 950HP on the same old 355 I had and will tell you as any other guy at a race track, you cn throw all of the math and online specs sheets out the window as race tracks and max effort dont particulary follow general run of the mill formulas and Ihave first hand examples to back up this claim

Re: How much power?
What are you going to use the car for? Hard to tell what to build unless you have a target use for the car. Street, street strip, strip? Go from there. Auto, manual, what kind of tire? All of these will determine what direction you need to go. Fat chicks? Blondes or red heads? Legs or eyes? Oops. Sorry.

Re: How much power?
well I was going for a Thin, red head. street/strip mostly strip. Auto trans th400 at the track slicks. It's a solid roller cam. I wanted to keep the shift at about 6500 rpm.looking for about 500 hp/tq.
