How Much...?
I'm down here in the Dallas area and I'm trying to figure out how much I should sell my 69 Camaro for. It's in about 90 to 95% condition, however it isn't matching numbers. It was already appraised once for $15,000 before I did any work to it. The specs for it are:
V8 350
Power Glide
Cowl induction hood
Holly 600 carb
Aluminum intake manifold
A/C (functional, just needs a new hose)
New: Carpet, floor mats, generator, generator belt, voltage regulator, underlays, trunk mat, thermostat, starter, battery, battery wires, battery mount, split fire spark plugs and spark plug wires, and rear view mirror.
Just a rough estamate would be great if ya'll could maybe help me out. If you need pictures let me know and I'll email them to you.
Thanks,
Elliot

How are the "typical" rust areas? To be honest $15k sounds a little high for a non matching car.
In February I purchased a mint, numbers matching 67 RS that is in immaculate condition and paid less than $14k for it.
The price of Camaros was driven up after they stopped making f-bodies. Now the prices are starting to fall back down to a more normal state. They still are slightly higher than they were prior to the end of production and I anticipate they'll continue to drop with the current state of the economy. Now just isn't a great time to be selling a used car.
If your car is in the right condition and is a color combination somebody wants, it could command more. However, unless its an RS, SS, Z/28 or rare "special" car I wouldn't expect more than $15k.
