How do i remove tha ignition cylinder on 1978 camaro z28.
ive removed the steering wheel, lock plate, i just need to remove the key cylinder because i lost the original key for it. and the steering wheel is locked at a turn angle just to let u know. I have the car in neutral also. HELP Please.

You may have already solved it by now, but ...
You got the majority done !
You need to remove the screw that holds the turn signal arm to the switch, then the 3 screws that hold the turn signal switch to the housing.
You may have to unplug the switch electrical connector to gain enough room, and then pull the switch up and out of the way of the housing.
There may be a key buzzer switch - you can pull it out w/ needle nose pliers, but be careful that the spring does not fall into the column !
You will now either see a screw, or perhaps nothing - in which case there is a casting flash in the housing that can be punched thru w/ a screwdriver allowing you to see a rectangular "pin".
Push that in, and out comes the lock cylinder !
