i have an 68 rs....i am almost done making my 383 stroker....will a high rise intake fit in the car with a stock hood?....for example a performer rpm from edelbrock

 

yes, but you'll need to get a shorter air cleaner.

 

Be careful with the short or dropped type air cleaners. Some of them put the lid right on top of the carb vent/air horn. This can cause goofy problems at higher rpm. Maybe those K&N cleaners with the pleated tops would not cause this problem.
