heads?

can you put 350 heads on a 400 small block? If so than is anything that will suffer from not putting 400 heads on it? Does anyone know of anyplace that can look up casting numbers of GM small block parts?

You can use the heads as long as you drill the steam holes between cylinders. Use your head gasket as a template.

You can use 350 heads on a 400. The only thing is, you will have to drill the steam holes in the heads. But that is easy. Just put your head gasket on the head, mark the spots and drill the holes.

Oops, looks like angel71 already answered the question. I guess I need to hit the refresh button on my pc every once in a while
