harmonic ballancer ques.

Ok, im drivin home today from work and bang...there goes my power steering. The i notice that it starts overheating. I get it home, and pop the hood. I notice that my harmonic balancer is just laying there. The bolt is out, and it looks like it stripped out. Anyone have any suggstions on how to fix this? I have a 78 strait 6

If the end of the crank is undamaged and it's just the threads in the nose that are gone, drill/tap the threads to the next size. If your 6 has a 7/16" balancer bolt like a small block, that would mean going to 1/2" like a big block.
