Gear head Decode

Newbie to classic.


what does

350 Block Specs: Dome vol. -5cc
C/R: 58cc - 11.1:1; 64cc - 10.3:1; 70cc - 9.6:1; 76cc - 9.0:1 (add .1 for 4.060''). 1.560'' C/H, 5.7'' Rod, 3.480'' Stroke. 8/pkg.

It sounds like a description for a set of pistons. If you're asking what it means, they're describing the compression ration you'd have with different heads. The pistons are for a 350 Chevy with stock rods (5.7"), stock stroke (3.48"), and would give you 11.1 compression with 58cc (combustion chamber size) heads, 10.3 compression with 64cc heads, etc. etc. They also said you would get a little more compression (.1) if it was bored to 4.060" (stock was 4").
