fuel pump.

My fuel pump died, it was the holly 110 electric, and I was wondering if there was an advantage to going to the 140 or higher, or if i even need it, its going on the 67'. I figure it was on there for a reason, so why change?

Also i was thinking about going AN braided stainless all the way back, any advantage or disadvantage to doing so other than looking pretty? and are there fuel filters that take the AN fittings?

No advantage to going to the 140, unless you need it. If your not having fuel starvation problems at high rpm then the pump and lines you have are just fine.

As for the braided hose you'll probably get differing opinions. I don't think it's a problem running them in Camaro's as the distance isn't that great and they look nice.

There are filters and other accessories for an AN system.

Usually when you run braided line you increase the size to compensate for any loss of flow due to design. This can then require you to go to a larger pump and a bypass regulator with a return line to the tank. You can see where this is going, now you have to adapt the tank for the lines, etc. And of course you have to buy allthose pretty AN connectors and stuff.

You can get a really nice look buy purchasing some 3/8" SS lines and you don't have to do any thing else to the system.
