Post Fuel line kink?

I just finished installin a vortec 355 in a 81 camaro. We have an holley fuel pump that is rated at 110 gph. Well, there is a nice kink in the hose righ now. The car is idling fine but when you get on it...it doesnt have much(or at least what we think it should). We are gona fix the kink in the hose tonight, but my question is...When you guys have had this problem. How bad did it hurt your performance. The engine still needs to be broken in more and the valves/timing done again also. I just really hope that this fuel line is the cause the main lack of performance. Thanks guys!

This question fits better on the 'Classic Tech' forum. I will move it there.

Most likely the fuel line kink is your problem, but if it is not and you dont have success in 'Classic Tech' finding help for your solution, make a new thread here for help.

Thanks.
