I'm saving up a bunch of money to put into the engine, and ive spent a lot of time thinking about what to put into it. I decided I want to get vortec heads with the Edelbrock air gap intake (vortec) and Comp Cams Magnum self aligning rocker arms 1.52 (I heard you can't go to 1.6 without problems, and either ross or speed-pro pistons (giving around 10.5:1 compression). Obviously, I'll have to put in a bigger cam (stock right now) and I just installed an MSD pro-billet w/blaster coil, and have a holley 600 4 barrell. (Transmission is TH-350). Will this set-up work together or will I run into problems? Thanks.

 

looks good, but i don't know why u couldn't use the 1.6 rocker rollers.. the only things i would do different, i would take the block .30 over to take out any tampering that would be in there. for any intake i would go to a Victor Jr. and a little larger carb like a 750.
