What is the origional color of a 1969 Camaro SS 350 small block engine and parts?
I am going to re-paint the block and I want it all original. I need to know the color of each part. I know the block is Chevrolet orange, but are the Valve covers also orange and heads silver?

 

Sorry if this is a stupid response, but can't you just see what faded color the part is currently and find the closest match? If you power wash you should be able to see the stock color no?

 

block AND heads are Chevy orange. valve covers and air cleaner should be chrome as part of the SS package
