engine build and pics of car

I recently bought a 1980 Z28 from my friend. It has no engine and needs the th400 tranny to be rebuilt. This is my first muscle car and I have some big plans for it. I'll be going with a Chevy 350, bored 30 over, Edelbrock Victor Jr. heads, super Victor intake, 830 cfm Holley carb, Comp Cam 630/630, stepped headers, and a lot of other goodies. Here are a few pics. Tell me what ya guys think of the engine build and stuff.

Thanks. The body needs a little work. The hood needs to be replaced cuz it got hit with a brick and theres a couple spots of rust and some scratches. It's in really good condition for a 24 year old car. I can't wait to get the engine going. I'm going to be putting out about 500 hp and am looking for a 12 sec 1/4 but I wouldn't mind if it was faster. I'm just trying to be conservative. It already has anti-tortion bars, trick springs in back, and a little weight rediction done. I want to replace the hood and fenders with fiberglass ones. I have bigger plans for next season such as a possible turbo. It is gunna be a lot of fun though.

Man, that looks good! Lately I've been seeing more and more very nice late-2nd gens, which is always a good thing. Definitely post some updates along the way, and welcome.

Exterior looks really good. I'd clean up the engine bay, and have it painted to match the body. The interior looks good except for the gauges on the dash. I would probably take them off. Throw a good 350 in there and you'll have an awsome car.
