Does oil pump need a gasket?

No gasket needed, just make sure there are no burrs that would interfere. Don't use silicone; if any squeezes out it could end up diddy bopping it's way around your oil passages.
When you're checking your main cap for burrs, throw a stone on your die grinder and use it to radius the entrance for the oil passage. There is typically a mismatch at this point between the pump and the main cap.
