Ok heres the thing i (obviously) have a 91 305 A4 Z28 and my uncle had found another camaro for himself, but then he decided to call me up and ask if he got the camaro, would i wanna swap.

So i asked him what year what engine etc. And its a 72 SS with a 350 (used to be a 454 ) 350 Turbo Tranmission B&M ratchet shifter dual straight pipes headers. But the body isnt perfect as i'm told one little rust hole over the passenger side rear fender and bondo in some areas.

But it runs strong, . Now i'm more of a older maro fan so i would def like the SS buuuuuut i also love my Z lol. So i'm at a bit of a dilema what do you guys think ?

 

Rust is a bad thing. Just depends on how bad of shape its in. The only plus is that you can run antique plates on it. No tags , no inspection for 5 years.

 

There was never an SS454 Camaro made so don't believe it's a real SS until someone can prove it to you. What's the VIN, that will tell you what the original engine was. Check the rear frame rails real good for rust, they are known to rust out. I think it sounds like a car you will have to tinker with and then if it doesn't look good enough you'll want to have it painted, etc. You need to find out more information before doing a swap.

 

Yeah, i won't straight up trade unless i test drive it, read the VIN make sure its a real SS , check for rust etc. . So once i know the VIN i will read it to you guys
