Clutch Recommendation

Anybody have any recommendations for a clutch in a '67 Camaro? It's a street car and I drive it around quite a bit. I'm looking for something with a little more bite than a standard clutch, but not something that's going to take my leg off if I drive it to work and back. Anybody try a Ram Performance clutch? I saw that they had pretty cheap kits and was entertaining the idea of picking one up. The car is running a Borg-Warner T-10 bolted up to a 350.

Centerforce has a pretty good performance clutch that I have used in several vehicles. Not much of a difference in peddle compared to the stock clutch.

absolutely centerforce dual friction. they aren't that expensive. maybe a few bucks more than the norm, but they work great. pedal pressure is normal, but clutch grip is outstanding and the design helps to ensure increased clutch grip as rpm's increase. they can handle about 600RWHP.

Well damn, looks like I'm going with a Centerforce then, huh? An 11", 1 1/8" x 10 spline shaft clutch/plate is what I'm looking for, correct? I'm not sure what year the motor is in this car, but a 350 is a 350, right?

they make 10.5" and 11". yea, 11" would work great. they are available with 10 spline or 26 spline. check the input shaft on your trans. most came with 10 spline.

later,

Yep a 350 is a 350, but the key is the tranny input shaft. Mine is a 26 spline. Just check yours so you know what you have.
