i saw an ad for a camaro "clone" can someone explaint that to me? thank you

a clone is not the real thing, but made to be close enough to the real thing that you cant tell the difference.

Sounds like however told you that was being honest... that's a good thing.

Basically like my SS. The VIN says it was originally an L6 coupe, but it's painted, badged, and has the correct engine to be an SS-350 to the uneducated person. I personally like clones better than numbers matching cars. You don't feel as bad when you ding them or blow the engines

hehe, no doubt, mine was an L6 too... now its got more power than the big block SS's and its only a SBC

Exactly. I'm trying to find the remainder of the budget for my 383 stroker. I'm gonna drop it in there and try to keep it as stock looking as possible. I'll have the fastest SS-350 people have ever seen!

Some people can't even clone something right. Like calling their 1st Gen a Z/28 when it has an automatic. lol To me, a clone (or the hot new term - a replica) is a car that has all the correct parts that would have made it a Z or an SS from the factory, but the car never came that way.
