Cam help

About year ago, I bought an Edelbrock Performer #2102 to fit in my 350 Camaro, but I already not put in, and now I bought a rebuilt 400 with stock speecs, and I had to plan to put the cam in the 400,but now I see that the Edelbrock cam to the 400 is the #2103.
Can I mount the #2102 with good results in the 400, or it not fit in?

Re: Cam help

The 2102 will work fine, the difference between the 2102 and the 2103 is that the 2103 has slightly more aggressive intake events (more lift and duration on the intake lobe. The exhaust lobe, I believe, is identical to the 2102). Since the 400 you have is built to stock spec, I doubt it would be worth the trouble to change one to the other. Both the 2102 & 2103 will fit in the 400 block just fine.

Hope this helps.

Re: Cam help

When I bought the 400 I had not seen that there are a diferent cam to the 400, I seen this now, and doubt if the 2102 can be good for this. But now I know that I can put in without problem.

Thanks.Fran.
