A/C Removal

Re: A/C Removal
I took off the AC on my 71 cause it was in the way and I wanted the car as light as possible. I've come to regret it... and if you ever decide to sell it, would be worth more with a functioning AC.

I agree with angel71rs above. I took mine out of my '78 20 years ago and also grew to regret it.
In fact, I'm trying to piece mine back together now. If you have a digital camera, would it be possible to have you send me some detail pics of the installation? The more the better.

Re: A/C Removal
.....I've also taken the A/C out of a couple of my cars and have ALWAYS regretted it. It always seems like a good idea at the time cuz you save a few pounds & less weight is just like more HP. BUT a few weeks, months or years down the road when your taking your new girl friend for a drive and it's hotter than hell & she's complaining about the heat, well you get the idea...... zzz
