Bell Housing Casting Number

Could anyone tell me what the correct casting number is for the bell housing on a 69 Z/28? I have two numbers that I have seen listed as correct: 3858403 (10 1/2"?) and 3899621 (11"?)

both of those are correct, it depends on which flywheel/clutch it came with, 10.5" or 11"

So far, I have read only one source saying 69 Z/28's came with 10.5" clutches. Did any come with 11" clutches?

I think it would depend on the engine/trans combo, SBC'x might have got the 10.5", BBc's might have got the 11", then again, maybe the 302 got a 11", everything else may have gotten a 10.5"

The only bell housing used on the 69 Z/28 was for the 10 1/2 inch clutch assembly with a casting of 3858403 the flywheel should be with a casting of 3791021. Both can be found as used parts with many shops.
