Anyone use Tri State cyl head Pro Topline knock offs?
Anyone use Tri State cyl head Pro Topline knock offs?
They advertise some wicked flow numbers for their aluminum "Tri Thunder" 190's. They claim 249 and 174 @ .400 with 259 and 183 @ .500
Even if they are close to that they should work amazing. I just wondered if anyone has tried them yet and what they thought. Thanks.

copied this off of their website

At that price something is missing-buyer beware!
I am using the aluminum pro toplines with a 200cc intake runner and they are awesome! They flow what they are supposed to flow and are very efficient. I have to warn you though. Don't buy the assembled heads. The valvesprings do not meet published specs and I had to shim almost every spring to get a correct installed height. The included guideplates are junk too. Even with good guideplates I had to remove some meat from the intake runners to get pushrod clearance. This may not be an issue with a smaller runner though. Major pain in the *** but still a good casting for the money.
