I did not say to use your stock radio. All I was trying to say was just put the stock radio in the dash NOT HOOKED UP and run a cd player out of the glove box.

But you know what; do whatever makes you happy. Everything else is just bulls#!t.

 

I'm pretty sure you can get a "stock style" cd head unit for those. I know you can for my car... they fit in the stock location, look like the original but are much better. I believe they play cd's through a trunk mounted cd player.

I'mma go look around and let you know if I can find one for a 68 camaro.
