anybody want to trade their 1st gen for my 4th gen?
1994 Z28
LT1
4L60E (new at about 63,000)
current with 95,000 miles
Hooker longtubes (ceramic coated)
BBK 52mm throttlebody

RKSport C100 kit
1999 Corvette C5 18s powdercoated white
Toyo Proxes 275/35/18s
Pioneer CD with Eclipse speakers, RF 300W amp, JL Audio Stealthbox and 10" sub (it sounds nice)
The good? I get lots of compliments and turning heads. Unique combination of paint, hood and wheels have helped me make a standout red Z28, if that's possible. It is pretty quick, for the mods done. It went 13.3 at 102 and has seen 106 at the end of the 1/4. This was before the headers and TB. On 18s. It should go 12s now, but haven't had it to the track.
Problems? Whole car was repainted about 18 months ago. However, it's got some nicks now. Chipping and a key mark (that should buff out) basically. The $700 hood has a crack up in the top left corner. I hate SLP. Also, the passenger seat has a few small pokes in it (screwdriver) and a stain. It does appear to be leaking a drop or two occasionally, probably from the back of the intake (classic LT1). Also, since the throttlebody, it idles kind of high, around 1400rpms. I'm not sure how to adjust that....
I am currently trying to sell the car. I've seen stockers, with the same miles, going for 6500-7000. I've got $5000 in extras easily. I think in the spring I could get $8000 for it. I'm selling it, because I want a 1st gen. So anybody with a 1st gen of similar value... maybe we can kill two birds with one stone?
