advice on fuel pump...

Hey I have an 84 Buick Regal with a 355 in it. I am going to probably be looking at mid to high 12's and my fuel pump went out, I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations, it would be an in-tank fuel pump.

I would suggest a Holley Blue (or equiv.) with regulator for flow requirements.

Not sure about the in-tank model however.

110 gal./hr. would be the minimum flow I would think.

Re: advice on fuel pump...

alright, thanks. In the long term I would like to have a 100 shot of NOS, should I go ahead and get a better one now or would the one you reccomended be good enough for it? if it's possible I am going to convert it to an external one. do you know what all that would involve? or if it would be worth it.

I would suggest an external unit. It makes for easy servicing if you need to
swap, or modify.

With 100 shot of nitrous, I'd think that's borderline for a dedicated pump.

I'll leave that for the nitrous tuners.

the current plan is to put a 15 gallon fuel cell in the trunk and use an external unit, so if something were to go wrong with it, it would be easy to swap out or work on. I think I'm going to go with the blue pump. thanks for the advice

Our 11203 pump is an external vane style pump that is quieter than the holley and will flow at least 90 gph @ 10psi. Even more at carb or nitrous enrichment pressure. If for any reason you wish to have our pump serviced we offer that as well over its lifetime. The warranty is 1 year.
