Need tips on how to remove and who do you recommend for a replacement? classic industries? Year one? also, does anyone have an original gm part number for this part?

 

Advance Auto Parts will have one for you. It reeeeeaaally sucks putting one in though. Just make sure you remove all the screws on the firewall (I didn't). Letting the inner fender down will make that part easier. The Chiltons manual was pretty helpful for me.

hey cadjock,

i got the heater core out....but since i have my interior completely out its a lot easier....i removed the three from under the hood and the two from inside and the whole box popped out pretty easy...total time was about two hours probably...now i need to find an ac delco or harrison core, any ideas?
