80 camaro exhaust popping.

The 80 camaro (350) pops really loud from the passenger side exhaust(true dual). My friend thinks it may be the carburetor, but I disagree because I think it would cause both sides to pop if it were the carb. It used to pop a lot quieter, but we put a bigger intake and carb on it and it got a lot louder. I told him I think its a hole in the passenger side exhaust or some thing electraical like a plug or wire on the passenger side, We changed the plugs and wires though but maybe a plug wasn't gapped right or was dropped, you never know. I am leaning towards the hole in the exhaust though. My last option was maybe a sticky valve, but I don't think its that. I am gonna try to fix the exhaust. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks everyone!

It may just be a broken or weak exhaust spring. You can check that just pulling the valve cover. Can you hear any tick in the valve train? I'd check all the springs first, then pull the head before you complete the header install. Later>>>>>

Popping thru exhaust...........fuel getting in exhaust (to rich) Popping thru carb........Lean. I would try resetting the lash on your rockers just for giggles also...........You may have one tightend down a little to much. Good luck.
