Vortec 350 intake?

Ok, im puttin a vortec 350 in my 78 camaro. Whats a good intake manifold for it. I was lookin through summit and some of the manifolds said " for 1996 and up cast iron vortec heads". Are these the only intakes that will fit? Also someone told me that the vortec 350 is considered a big block. I think thats bull**** but i just wanted to make sure.

Considered a big block? Nope. Not sure what he was talking about.

Go with an Edelbrock Air-Gap RPM for vortec heads or you can get the same intake from Professional Products for alot cheaper. It doesn't have Edelbrock's fancy name on it though.

Oh, and I think this post may belong in your generation specific forum.
