79 Z is dead,looking to rebuild (budget)

OK folks I haven't been on here in a few weeks, in these few weeks I had a unlicsensed driver slam into the rear of me and then I threw the pickup off of my oil-pump all in the same week .
Anyways I woundering if ya'll had any ideas that I could use to build a budget 350 for less than $2000 dollars? That will make anywhere from 400-500 horsepower if possible. I have the block out of my z28 that I'm gonna use and I can get ahold of a set of fully dressed aluminum Vortec heads for $400 dollars, so what should I all get done to get this thing turn some power without any N.O.S. or such on 93 pump gas. Thanks
